Gobi Photography (My wife and I) attended our first WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) convention this February at MGM Grand at Las Vegas. It was huge, and the MGM Grand was even bigger. It took us 20 minutes to walk from our room to the convention rooms! Well, we got plenty of exercise walking back and forth everyday. We met some great photographers, and learned soo much. We have already booking our spot for next year. We even got a chance to get some photos of the Grand Canyon while we were there...but I'll save those for a future post. One of the techniques that really interested us was what people were doing with High Speed Sync flash. We came home and began experimenting with it, it's definitely going into our toolbox for weddings photography and outdoor portrait shoots.
